Richard Toon is a beef farmer and manages 460 acres with his herd of Limousin cattle and a smaller herd of the traditional and rare breed, North Devon cattle, which he plans to expand.

Together with his family, Richard manages a 200 acre ancient deer park which holds some truly ancient oak trees and is restoring over 20 acres of limestone grassland with the help of his Devon stock.

Richard also runs a haulage business, transporting sheep fleeces from local farms to the wool mills in Bradford.
