The group's largest holding belongs to Ian and Carol Potter who run a dairy replacement system across 684 acres.
Ian's system means cattle are frequently rotated across the land to optimise grazing, though many fields are managed under a low intensity regime so that the wildflowers are able to spread and around 145 acres are being managed to increase their wildflower populations, including pasture and hay meadows.
Woodland is a prominent feature, too, and plans are underway to manage the ancient woodland and create better connections through hedgerow restoration and planting of new hedges.
leading the way in creating environmentally sustainable & biodiverse farmscapes.
